U.S. M4A1 Tank "Sherman" and 2 crew "Oddball" (the comander), and "Moriarity" (the driver and mechanic). The Custom Lego Military Sherman Tank Model Set comes with 644 Genuine Lego (Registered Trademark) parts, custom military star decals, attached Lego shovel, pick, and custom designed Lego 50 cal machine gun and 75mm cannon. The gun elevates, turret rotates, top opening hatches, working treads, and comes with a crew of 2. The design of each custom military vehicle model set is carefully researched and designed, using a variety of Lego and customized Lego parts to create a unique look for each of the custom vehicle model sets. The custom built Lego military model, the Sherman M4A1 tank overwhelmed the enemy during ww2 with shear numbers. The Sherman is part of the "Hero Collection" (see custom Lego military minifigures in minifig section). Although the custom Lego Sherman M4A1 military model is no match for the Tiger in a face to face, 1 on 1 battle, the Sherman was a superior weapon to other medium tanks of opposing armies. Watch the movie "Kelly's Heroes" and see if you can figure out where the Tigers vulnerable spot is. In that movie the Sherman was able to destroy How Many? Tiger tanks.

Sherman M4
The Sherman tank is a small to medium sized battle tank, invented and built in the USA and supplied for use by our troops in the Italian Campaign. It was called a 'Zippo' tank because it used 100 octane fuel in an aeroplane engine and this fuel was very volatile which meant it would catch fire if hit by a shell. The crew had to be able to evacuate very quickly through their hatches or the escape hatch under the tank.
